Beach & Pool Crawl has been running Tamarindo’s beach and pool crawls since 2017 — one bus, a handful of the best beach clubs on Costa Rica’s Guanacaste coast, and a day that takes care of itself.

We run two ways. Sunday Funday is the weekly crawl, open to anyone — you book a seat and meet the rest of the bus when you get on. Private crawls are the same idea built around your group, any day of the week, for weddings, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, reunions, or families who just want a day out on the coast.

Either way: we handle the driving, the venues, and the first round at each stop. You show up.

What Is a Beach & Pool Crawl?

A bar crawl moves you between bars on foot. A beach and pool crawl moves you between beach clubs on a bus — and in Guanacaste, that difference is the whole point. The best spots on this coast are spread across Tamarindo, Playa Flamingo, and Playa Potrero, twenty minutes apart on roads you don’t want to be driving at the end of a long day.

So we drive. The day runs through three stops, each one a beach club with either a pool or direct beach access, live music or a DJ, and a welcome drink waiting when you arrive. Between stops, the bus is its own venue — sound system, games, and the part of the day most people end up remembering.

No planning, no driving, no working out where to go next. That’s the crawl.

Tamarindo Sunday Funday

Every Sunday, the Crawler Hauler runs Tamarindo’s original beach and pool crawl — a full day of drinking, swimming, and making friends with people you’ve never met. You’ll visit three different beach clubs along Costa Rica’s Guanacaste coast, each with either a beach or a pool, and each with live music or a DJ going.

A welcome drink is waiting at every stop. Food and drink specials run all day if you want more than that, and the bus keeps the party going between venues — games, music, and the kind of group that’s usually still together long after the last stop.

It’s the easiest way into Tamarindo nightlife without planning a thing. Transport, venues, and the first round at each are handled; you show up.

Our Magic Crawler Hauler

The Crawler Hauler is the reason this works. Open-air, built for groups, with a sound system that keeps the party going between stops — it’s not a shuttle that happens to have music, it’s part of the day

The bus runs the Guanacaste coast between Tamarindo and the beach clubs up north, so nobody’s driving, nobody’s coordinating taxis, and nobody’s figuring out how to get home. We handle pickup and drop-off, and the stretch between venues is usually where the group actually becomes a group.

Whatever you’re celebrating, we’ll build the crawl around it. Private groups get the Crawler Hauler to themselves, a route picked from our beach clubs along the Guanacaste coast, and a day shaped to whatever the occasion is — not a fixed itinerary you’re fitted into.
